I enjoyed the fish picture and Paco's hypothesis. Now to further complicate the issue:
Trish Shelton showed me two large shells which she says are the male and female of the Burro shell. The male looks just like what we usually call a Conch, while the female is thicker, rounder and white. She says Ricardo Applegate and his kids gathered on their new property and he named it for the shell, the female, rounded like a burro, like a burrito...Luz was there, Aurea is now deceased, Craig's wife would have been too young, but perhaps she has heard the story, Chef Roger's wife may be able to add more data in our search for historical lore.
